Job Title: Remote Fintech Data Governance & Controls Analyst
Country Alignment: Kuwait
Employment Type: Full-Time | Remote
Role Objective
To ensure that financial data across fintech platforms is accurate, secure, and properly governed through the implementation of robust data controls, policies, and monitoring frameworks.
Strategic Responsibilities
Data Governance Framework Development
- Define policies and standards for data management within fintech systems
- Ensure consistency in data definitions, formats, and usage
- Align data governance practices with regulatory expectations
Risk & Control Implementation
- Identify risks related to data integrity, privacy, and security
- Implement controls to mitigate data-related risks
- Monitor adherence to established data policies
Operational Responsibilities
Data Quality Management
- Monitor data accuracy across transaction systems and reporting platforms
- Identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure data completeness and reliability
Audit & Compliance Support
- Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
- Ensure data handling practices meet compliance standards
- Maintain records of data governance activities
Reporting & Insights
- Generate reports on data quality metrics and control effectiveness
- Provide insights to improve data management processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data usage
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Finance, or Information Systems
- 4–6 years of experience in data governance, fintech, or financial systems
- Strong understanding of data quality and control frameworks
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
