Position Summary
A data-driven fintech environment is seeking a Fintech Data Analyst to transform complex financial datasets into actionable insights. This role focuses on payment analytics, customer behavior, and financial performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Core Technical Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets related to transactions, user activity, and financial flows
- Develop dashboards and visualizations for business intelligence reporting
- Identify trends in payment usage, customer segmentation, and revenue streams
- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple fintech systems
- Support predictive modeling for customer behavior and fraud detection
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data pipelines
Technical Skill Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of financial data structures and payment systems
- Experience working with APIs and data integration tools
Educational Background
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
Experience Level
- 2–5 years in data analytics, preferably within fintech or financial services
