Role: Remote Fintech Customer Risk & KYC Operations Lead
Location: Remote (Aligned with Saudi Arabia Regulatory Environment)

Role Summary
This position oversees customer onboarding, identity verification, and risk profiling processes within a fintech environment. The role ensures that all customers are properly verified, monitored, and assessed for risk in compliance with financial regulations.
Workflow Breakdown
Stage 1: Customer Onboarding (Day-to-Day)
- Review new customer applications and verify submitted documentation
- Ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements
- Approve or reject onboarding requests based on risk assessment
Stage 2: Risk Assessment & Profiling (Weekly)
- Analyze customer profiles to determine risk levels
- Apply risk scoring methodologies to categorize customers
- Flag high-risk accounts for further review
Stage 3: Ongoing Monitoring (Continuous)
- Monitor transactions for suspicious or unusual activity
- Update customer profiles based on behavioral patterns
- Escalate potential AML (Anti-Money Laundering) cases
Stage 4: Reporting & Compliance (Monthly/Quarterly)
- Prepare reports for compliance and regulatory review
- Maintain records of KYC processes and decisions
- Support internal and external audits
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in KYC, AML, or fintech risk operations
- Strong understanding of customer due diligence processes
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia
- Experience using KYC and transaction monitoring systems
