Executive Summary
A dynamic fintech environment is seeking a Card Issuing & Program Operations Manager to oversee the lifecycle of card products, including issuance, activation, transaction processing, and lifecycle management. The role is central to ensuring seamless coordination between issuing banks, payment networks, and internal systems.
Role Mandate
- Ensure efficient execution of card issuing programs
- Maintain operational excellence across card lifecycle processes
- Optimize transaction performance and user experience
Key Responsibilities
Card Program Management
- Oversee debit, prepaid, and virtual card issuing programs
- Manage card lifecycle stages including issuance, activation, blocking, and renewal
- Coordinate with issuing partners and payment networks
Operational Execution
- Monitor transaction flows including authorization, clearing, and settlement
- Ensure high transaction success rates and minimal service disruptions
- Resolve operational issues related to card transactions
Process Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies in card operations and implement improvements
- Automate workflows to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Improve turnaround times for card-related processes
Risk & Compliance Oversight
- Monitor card usage for fraud and suspicious activities
- Ensure adherence to payment regulations and compliance standards
- Maintain operational controls to safeguard financial transactions
Reporting & Insights
- Generate operational reports and performance dashboards
- Analyze transaction data to identify trends and opportunities
- Provide insights for strategic improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 5–9 years of experience in card issuing, payments, or fintech operations
- Strong understanding of card payment ecosystems
- Experience managing remote teams and workflows
