Role Overview
This role focuses on card issuing operations within a structured risk-control and assurance framework, ensuring that all card-related processes are secure, compliant, and operationally efficient.
Risk-Control & Assurance Framework
Control Area 1: Card Issuance & Activation Integrity
- Oversee issuance of physical and virtual cards
- Ensure accurate customer data during activation
- Prevent unauthorized card creation
Control Area 2: Transaction Monitoring & Risk Mitigation
- Monitor card transactions for unusual activity
- Identify potential risks and anomalies
- Implement preventive controls
Control Area 3: Authorization & Limit Management
- Ensure proper authorization of card transactions
- Monitor credit and spending limits
- Adjust controls based on risk assessments
Control Area 4: Dispute & Chargeback Handling
- Manage cardholder disputes and chargebacks
- Investigate transaction issues
- Ensure timely resolution
Control Area 5: Compliance & Audit Assurance
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations
- Prepare documentation for audits
- Ensure adherence to operational policies
Extended Responsibilities
- Improve card issuing processes
- Enhance risk control mechanisms
- Support development of secure card systems
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in card operations, risk control, or fintech
- Strong understanding of card issuing processes
- Analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to work remotely with high accountability
