Role Context
This role is designed around real-world operational scenarios in a BNPL fintech environment. The specialist will manage customer financing workflows, merchant coordination, and repayment tracking, ensuring smooth execution of deferred payment solutions.
Typical Work Scenarios
Scenario 1: Customer Purchase & Financing Approval
A customer selects a product and opts for installment payments:
- Review transaction details and customer eligibility
- Apply credit rules to approve or decline the request
- Ensure accurate setup of repayment schedules
Scenario 2: Merchant Payment Processing
After approval:
- Ensure merchant receives full payment upfront
- Confirm transaction recording in the system
- Verify accuracy of settlement amounts
Scenario 3: Repayment Monitoring
Over the repayment period:
- Track installment payments from customers
- Identify missed or delayed payments
- Initiate follow-up actions for overdue accounts
Scenario 4: Issue Resolution
If discrepancies arise:
- Investigate transaction or repayment issues
- Coordinate with customer support and finance teams
- Resolve disputes and update records accordingly
Core Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end BNPL transaction workflows
- Monitor repayment schedules and customer accounts
- Ensure accurate merchant settlements

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech lending or consumer finance
