Position Summary
The Fintech Payments & Settlement Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple payment channels. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of settlement processes and optimizing transaction flows within a modern fintech ecosystem.
The position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of payment infrastructures, reconciliation processes, and financial controls.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily payment processing activities, including authorization, clearing, and settlement
- Monitor transaction flows across multiple platforms such as mobile payments, bank transfers, and card networks
- Perform reconciliation of financial transactions across internal systems and external partners
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in settlements and transaction records
- Collaborate with finance and technology teams to improve payment processing efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and operational standards within the GCC
- Generate detailed reports on transaction performance and settlement accuracy
- Support the implementation of new payment solutions and enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 4–7 years of experience in payments, settlements, or fintech operations
- Strong understanding of payment systems and financial transaction workflows
- Familiarity with reconciliation tools and financial reporting systems
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, and financial compliance frameworks
