Role Overview

The Financial Data & Analytics Lead will drive data-centric decision-making across fintech operations, leveraging advanced analytics to enhance financial performance, customer insights, and product innovation.

This role is suited for professionals who can merge financial expertise with data science capabilities to unlock actionable intelligence within complex financial datasets.

Strategic Objectives

• Build and maintain data pipelines for financial and transactional data
• Develop predictive models to support business and product decisions
• Enhance reporting frameworks for financial performance tracking
• Support strategic initiatives through data-driven insights

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Management

• Design and manage scalable data architectures
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility
• Integrate multiple data sources including payment systems and customer platforms

Analytics & Insights

• Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools for stakeholders
• Generate insights to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

Business Collaboration

• Work closely with product, finance, and engineering teams
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Support executive decision-making with data-backed recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in data analytics within fintech or financial services
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Preferred Expertise

• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics
• Understanding of financial products, payments, and digital banking systems
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms

Performance Metrics

• Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Effectiveness of predictive models
• Impact of data insights on business outcomes
