Role Overview
The Billing & Revenue Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of revenue processes within a fintech environment. This includes billing accuracy, revenue tracking, reconciliation, and reporting. The role ensures that financial inflows are correctly captured, recorded, and aligned with operational activity across digital financial platforms.
End-to-End Workflow Ownership
1. Revenue Capture & Billing
- Generate and manage billing cycles for fintech products and services.
- Ensure accurate invoicing based on transaction volumes, subscription models, or service usage.
- Validate billing data against operational records.
2. Revenue Reconciliation
- Reconcile billed revenue with actual received payments.
- Identify discrepancies between expected and realized income.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to resolve inconsistencies.
3. Payment Tracking & Collections Support
- Monitor incoming payments and maintain updated financial records.
- Support follow-ups on outstanding balances where necessary.
4. Reporting & Financial Insights
- Prepare revenue reports and performance summaries.
- Provide insights into revenue trends and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- 3–5 years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or fintech finance.
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
