Role Overview
The Billing, Invoicing & Revenue Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing all processes related to billing generation, invoice accuracy, and revenue tracking across digital financial services. This role ensures that every transaction, fee, and financial interaction is correctly captured, billed, and reconciled.
Operating within a fintech ecosystem, the role requires a strong understanding of automated billing systems, digital payment structures, and revenue assurance controls.
Responsibility Spectrum
1. Billing System Management
- Oversee the configuration and operation of billing systems for fintech products
- Ensure accurate generation of invoices for transactions, subscriptions, and service fees
- Validate billing logic and pricing structures within the system
2. Invoice Processing & Validation
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Resolve discrepancies between billed amounts and actual transaction records
- Ensure timely delivery of invoices to relevant stakeholders
3. Revenue Assurance Controls
- Monitor revenue streams to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
- Identify revenue leakage or inconsistencies
- Implement controls to safeguard financial accuracy
4. Financial Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform reconciliation between billing systems and financial records
- Prepare detailed reports on revenue performance and billing accuracy
- Support audit processes with accurate documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 4–6 years of experience in billing, revenue assurance, or fintech operations
- Strong understanding of financial systems and transaction flows
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
