This role is positioned within the core of fintech infrastructure, focusing on API integrations, payment gateways, and system interoperability. The specialist will ensure that financial systems communicate efficiently, securely, and in real time, enabling seamless digital payment experiences across multiple platforms.
Role Breakdown
1. API Architecture & Integration
- Design, implement, and manage APIs for payment services
- Integrate third-party financial systems, including gateways and processors
- Ensure scalability and high availability of API services
2. Payment Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and optimize payment processing systems
- Monitor transaction flows and system performance
- Ensure minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution
3. Security & Compliance Alignment
- Implement secure API authentication mechanisms
- Ensure adherence to financial data protection standards
- Support compliance with regional regulatory frameworks
4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track API performance metrics
- Optimize response times and throughput
- Conduct stress testing and system improvements
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with product, engineering, and compliance teams
- Support feature development and system enhancements
- Provide technical documentation and guidance
Candidate Requirements
- 6+ years in fintech, API development, or payment systems
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and payment protocols
- Experience with cloud-based financial systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
