Role Overview
This role centers on managing API integrations and fintech partnerships, ensuring seamless connectivity between financial platforms, payment systems, and third-party service providers.
Key Deliverables (First 6–12 Months)
Assessment & Planning
- Evaluate existing API infrastructure and identify integration gaps
- Map out partner systems and technical requirements
- Develop integration roadmaps aligned with business objectives
Implementation
- Lead API integration projects with payment gateways, banking systems, and fintech services
- Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between platforms
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance
Optimization & Scaling
- Improve API performance, latency, and reliability
- Standardize integration protocols and documentation
- Support onboarding of new financial partners and services
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams on API design and deployment
- Manage relationships with external fintech partners
- Ensure compliance with data security and financial regulations
- Document integration processes and maintain technical records
Required Expertise
- 4–8 years of experience in fintech integrations, API management, or technical partnerships
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services
- Familiarity with payment systems and digital financial platforms
- Experience working with cross-border financial integrations
Performance Metrics
- Successful completion of integration projects within timelines
- Reduction in API errors and system downtime
- Increased efficiency in partner onboarding processes
- Improved system scalability and reliability
