A globally respected fintech enterprise is seeking a visionary Executive Director – Fintech Venture & Strategic Investments to identify, evaluate, and accelerate breakthrough financial technologies across the GCC and international markets.
This highly influential leadership position offers the opportunity to oversee strategic investments, forge innovation partnerships, and guide the commercialization of disruptive fintech solutions that redefine digital finance.
Working alongside executive leadership, institutional investors, technology innovators, and regulatory stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in building a world-class financial innovation ecosystem.
Strategic Responsibilities
Investment Leadership
- Develop and execute enterprise investment strategies aligned with long-term growth objectives.
- Identify emerging fintech opportunities across digital banking, AI, blockchain, and payment technologies.
- Lead financial, operational, and commercial due diligence for investment opportunities.
- Oversee portfolio performance and value creation initiatives.
- Structure strategic joint ventures and partnership agreements.
Corporate Strategy
- Advise executive leadership on investment priorities.
- Develop market intelligence reports and competitive analyses.
- Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
- Lead capital allocation planning and investment governance.
Executive Collaboration
- Build relationships with venture funds, accelerators, regulators, and financial institutions.
- Present investment recommendations to executive committees and boards.
- Mentor cross-functional innovation teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Investment Management.
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, corporate strategy, or fintech investments.
- Demonstrated success evaluating high-growth technology businesses.
