A rapidly expanding fintech organization is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to strengthen its Financial Analytics division supporting high-growth payment ecosystems, digital wallets, embedded finance, lending platforms, and next-generation banking solutions across the GCC and international markets.
This role is designed for professionals who possess exceptional financial modeling capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to transform complex financial datasets into executive-level strategic recommendations. You will collaborate with executive leadership, product teams, treasury, compliance, and technology divisions to optimize profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance enterprise-wide financial performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise financial models supporting strategic investments and expansion initiatives.
- Build sophisticated forecasting models covering revenue, expenses, liquidity, capital allocation, and operational performance.
- Analyze profitability across fintech products including digital wallets, payment gateways, remittance services, BNPL, merchant acquiring, and subscription platforms.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for executive leadership.
- Design executive dashboards utilizing advanced business intelligence tools.
- Conduct variance analysis with actionable commercial recommendations.
- Evaluate financial implications of new product launches and strategic partnerships.
- Support budgeting, planning, and long-term financial strategy.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to evaluate financial exposure.
- Monitor unit economics, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and revenue optimization.
- Prepare board-level investment presentations.
- Improve financial reporting automation using advanced analytical technologies.
- Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence projects where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or Business Analytics.
- MBA, CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience within fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
- Strong expertise in financial forecasting and valuation methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including Power Query and financial modeling.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar analytical platforms.
- Excellent understanding of IFRS and corporate finance principles.
- Exceptional presentation and executive communication skills.
