This executive role is designed for a visionary leader capable of driving large-scale transformation initiatives involving real-time payments, embedded finance, open banking integrations, digital wallets, merchant acquiring platforms, cross-border remittance networks, and AI-powered transaction intelligence systems.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of technology, financial innovation, regulatory strategy, and commercial growth, creating scalable digital payment ecosystems capable of supporting millions of transactions while maintaining exceptional security, compliance, and customer experience standards.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide digital payments transformation strategies.
- Lead the design of advanced payment architectures supporting instant payments and real-time settlement.
- Oversee implementation of Open Banking APIs and Banking-as-a-Service platforms.
- Drive merchant ecosystem expansion across retail, e-commerce, mobility, hospitality, and government sectors.
- Establish strategic partnerships with financial institutions, payment processors, fintech innovators, and technology providers.
- Design innovative payment products incorporating AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Direct digital wallet innovation and mobile payment adoption programs.
- Manage enterprise fraud prevention initiatives utilizing behavioral analytics and real-time monitoring systems.
- Develop strategies for international payment interoperability and cross-border transaction optimization.
- Ensure alignment with evolving regulatory frameworks governing payment services and financial technology.
