Engineering Mission
Build the high-performance systems responsible for processing financial transactions accurately, securely and at scale.
The Engineer will work on transaction-processing services where latency, reliability, observability and data integrity are critical. The role is suited to a software professional who enjoys solving complex distributed-systems problems.
Engineering Responsibilities

Develop scalable services for real-time payment processing.

Design and implement APIs supporting transaction initiation and status management.

Build resilient microservices for high-volume financial workflows.

Implement transaction validation, routing and processing logic.
-
Develop automated tests covering functional, performance and failure scenarios.

Monitor transaction-processing performance and investigate production issues.
-
Improve system latency, throughput and fault tolerance.
-
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, product and operations teams.

Design reliable mechanisms for retries, reconciliation and exception handling.
-
Participate in architecture reviews and technical design sessions.

Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation and engineering discipline.
Technical Requirements

5+ years of professional software-engineering experience.

Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, C# or an equivalent production language.

Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.

Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architectures and message queues.

Solid SQL and database knowledge.
-
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerised workloads.
-
Experience with financial transactions or payments is highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

Indicative Compensation: KWD 3,200–5,200 per month + benefits.
