A globally connected financial technology organization is expanding its advanced engineering division and is inviting applications from exceptional software professionals for the role of Distinguished FinTech Backend Developer.
This position presents a unique opportunity to architect secure, high-performance financial platforms supporting digital banking, payment ecosystems, embedded finance, and real-time transaction services across multiple international markets.
Working alongside globally distributed engineering teams, you will help develop resilient financial infrastructure designed to deliver uninterrupted service, regulatory-grade security, and outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale backend financial applications.
- Build secure microservices supporting high-volume digital transactions.
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for financial integrations.
- Engineer cloud-native banking services using scalable architectures.
- Integrate payment gateways, merchant platforms, and financial APIs.
- Implement distributed messaging and event-driven processing.
- Enhance system resilience, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Optimize SQL and NoSQL database performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in architecture governance and technical strategy.
- Conduct peer reviews and mentor engineering teams.
- Ensure software complies with global security and compliance frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 6+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or .NET.
- Experience building cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and secure authentication standards.
