To lead this transformation, the organization is seeking a Director of AI-Driven Financial Systems & Real-Time Banking Intelligence. This role sits at the intersection of machine intelligence, financial architecture, and distributed systems engineering.
The mandate is to design financial systems that do not merely process data, but interpret it—continuously learning from transaction behavior, market activity, and user interactions to improve accuracy, fraud detection, credit decisions, and financial personalization at scale.
Core Responsibilities
AI Financial Systems Architecture
- Design AI-powered financial decisioning systems across banking and payment infrastructure.
- Develop real-time intelligence layers that analyze transaction flows dynamically.
- Architect predictive models for credit scoring, fraud detection, and liquidity forecasting.
- Integrate machine learning pipelines into core financial platforms.
- Ensure model interpretability within regulated financial environments.
Real-Time Data Engineering
- Build streaming data architectures for high-volume financial transactions.
- Optimize low-latency pipelines for instant financial decision-making.
- Implement event-driven systems for adaptive financial responses.
- Ensure synchronization between AI models and production systems.
Financial Intelligence & Optimization
- Enhance financial systems using behavioral and transactional analytics.
- Improve accuracy of automated financial decisions through continuous learning loops.
- Develop personalization engines for digital banking experiences.
- Support dynamic pricing and risk adjustment mechanisms.
Governance, Risk & Model Compliance
- Ensure AI systems comply with financial regulations and audit standards.
- Establish model governance frameworks for transparency and control.
- Mitigate risks associated with automated financial decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in fintech, AI systems, or large-scale data platforms.
- Strong background in machine learning and distributed systems.
- Experience working with financial or regulated environments.
- Proven leadership in technical transformation programs.
