An internationally expanding fintech company is looking for a highly accomplished Director – Fintech Payment Network Engineering to oversee the design, optimization, and resilience of enterprise payment infrastructure supporting high-volume digital transactions across regional and global markets.
You will lead engineering teams responsible for payment routing, transaction processing, cloud infrastructure, platform performance, and service availability while delivering secure, scalable, and innovative financial technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Engineering
- Lead payment network architecture and modernization.
- Optimize transaction routing and processing efficiency.
- Strengthen platform availability and fault tolerance.
- Drive cloud infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Establish engineering standards and operational best practices.
- Improve monitoring, observability, and incident response.
- Ensure high service reliability and business continuity.
- Promote automation across engineering operations.
Technology Leadership
- Mentor engineering managers and technical specialists.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, product, and software engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies supporting payment infrastructure.
- Present engineering roadmaps to executive leadership.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience in payment infrastructure, cloud engineering, or enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and financial technology platforms.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
