A pioneering financial technology institution is seeking a visionary Director to spearhead enterprise-wide digital payments transformation and financial innovation initiatives. This executive leadership opportunity is designed for an accomplished fintech professional capable of driving next-generation payment ecosystems, digital banking modernization, embedded finance strategies, and intelligent transaction infrastructures across rapidly evolving financial markets.
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction for high-value fintech initiatives, oversee multidisciplinary technology teams, and establish scalable financial platforms capable of delivering secure, intelligent, and customer-centric financial services. This role demands exceptional leadership, commercial insight, and technical expertise to shape the future of digital finance.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise digital payments strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.

Lead modernization of payment gateways, real-time settlement platforms, and digital wallet ecosystems.

Oversee implementation of embedded finance and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) capabilities.

Direct large-scale fintech transformation programs from concept through deployment.

Collaborate with regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving financial technology standards.

Champion innovation in cross-border payments, merchant acquiring, and digital commerce.

Establish governance frameworks for payment security, fraud prevention, and operational resilience.

Build strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology providers, and ecosystem participants.

Drive customer-centric innovation using AI, data analytics, and automation technologies.

Mentor executive teams while fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.

Minimum of 12 years’ experience in fintech, digital banking, or financial services.

Extensive knowledge of payment infrastructures, ISO 20022, Open Banking, APIs, cloud technologies, and financial regulations.
