Remote Digital Payments Operations Manager – Fintech Processing & Settlement (Kuwait)
Role Summary
A highly detail-oriented Digital Payments Operations Manager is required to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of digital transactions, ensuring operational precision, settlement accuracy, and system reliability across Kuwait’s fintech payment landscape.
This role is deeply operational yet strategically important—focused on maintaining the integrity and efficiency of high-volume financial transaction systems.
Day-to-Day Functional Scope
Transaction Monitoring & Control
- Supervise real-time transaction flows across payment gateways, wallets, and banking integrations.
- Detect and respond to anomalies, failed transactions, and processing delays.
Settlement & Reconciliation
- Manage settlement cycles between fintech platforms, partner banks, and payment processors.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of transaction records and financial balances.
Operational Risk Management
- Identify operational risks within payment workflows and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with compliance teams on fraud prevention and AML monitoring processes.
Process Improvement
- Analyze operational inefficiencies and design improvements to enhance throughput and reduce errors.
- Introduce automation tools for reconciliation and reporting tasks.
Technical Environment
- Payment gateways, transaction processing systems, and settlement engines
- Data tools: Advanced Excel, SQL, reporting dashboards
- Familiarity with API integrations and financial system workflows
Experience Requirements
- 5–8 years in fintech operations, payment processing, or banking operations.
- Experience managing high-volume transaction environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
