Strategic Mandate
We are seeking an accomplished Governance professional to establish the frameworks through which financial data and artificial-intelligence capabilities are managed, controlled and deployed responsibly across a modern fintech environment.
This role sits at the intersection of data strategy, AI, financial technology, risk management and enterprise governance. The successful candidate will establish practical governance structures that enable innovation without compromising data quality, security, accountability or business performance.
Key Responsibilities

Establish enterprise frameworks for financial-data and AI governance.

Define policies covering data ownership, quality, access and lifecycle management.

Develop governance standards for AI and machine-learning applications.

Establish model-governance processes covering validation, monitoring and documentation.

Collaborate with technology, data science, risk, security and product teams.

Develop data-quality measurement frameworks and remediation processes.
-
Establish controls for sensitive financial datasets.
-
Define governance requirements for third-party AI and data technologies.

Develop executive dashboards covering data and AI governance performance.
-
Conduct governance assessments across digital financial products.
-
Identify gaps in data-management and AI-control environments.

Establish accountability frameworks for critical data assets and analytical models.

Support strategic implementation of enterprise data platforms.

Monitor emerging developments in AI and financial data management.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Risk, Information Systems or a related discipline.

7+ years of experience in data governance, technology risk, AI governance, fintech or financial services.

Strong understanding of data-management principles and analytical systems.

Experience with AI/ML governance, model oversight or data-quality frameworks.

Strong stakeholder-management and policy-development capabilities.

Excellent analytical and executive communication skills.
