Protect the Infrastructure Behind Modern Finance
A fintech environment cannot compromise on security. We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen the security of financial applications, cloud infrastructure, payment systems, APIs, and internal technology platforms.
This position is suited to a security professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to work at the intersection of cybersecurity and financial technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and strengthen security across fintech applications and infrastructure.
- Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation activities.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration-testing exercises.
- Implement security controls across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Monitor security logs and investigate suspicious activity.
- Support incident response and cybersecurity investigations.
- Protect APIs, databases, applications, networks, and payment infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Work with engineering teams to incorporate security throughout the software-development lifecycle.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security testing.
- Support identity and access-management initiatives.
- Participate in security audits and compliance assessments.
- Maintain awareness of emerging cybersecurity threats affecting financial institutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of cybersecurity or information-security experience.
- Strong knowledge of network and application security.
- Experience with SIEM, vulnerability-management, endpoint-security, or security-monitoring platforms.
- Understanding of cloud security principles.
- Knowledge of authentication, encryption, identity management, and access controls.
- Familiarity with OWASP security principles.
- Strong analytical and incident-response skills.
Certifications
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM, OSCP, or cloud-security certifications will be advantageous.
