A forward-thinking fintech institution is searching for a highly skilled Consultant – API & Integration Development to design robust integration solutions that connect digital banking platforms, payment gateways, financial applications, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise technology environments.
This consulting-focused position is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex integration challenges while enabling seamless connectivity across modern financial services.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure APIs supporting enterprise fintech products.
- Build scalable integration frameworks connecting banking platforms and third-party financial services.
- Develop middleware solutions that improve interoperability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Managers, Cybersecurity Specialists, DevOps Engineers, and QA teams.
- Implement API security, authentication, encryption, and monitoring best practices.
- Optimize application performance and integration reliability.
- Support cloud migration and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Produce technical documentation, integration standards, and architecture recommendations.
- Conduct performance testing and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Research emerging API technologies, open banking standards, and fintech innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in API development, enterprise integration, fintech platforms, or banking technology.
- Strong proficiency in Java, .NET, Python, Go, Node.js, REST, GraphQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, API gateways, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and event-driven systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
