Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to lead cloud security initiatives supporting enterprise banking and financial technology platforms. This role is designed for professionals with expertise in cloud security architecture, risk management, compliance, and secure cloud adoption.
The successful candidate will work closely with cloud engineers, DevOps teams, software developers, infrastructure architects, and governance specialists to implement secure cloud solutions that protect business-critical financial applications while enabling innovation and operational agility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud security architectures.
- Conduct cloud security assessments and risk evaluations.
- Develop cloud governance policies and security standards.
- Review cloud environments for compliance with security best practices.
- Implement identity and access management controls.
- Support secure migration of enterprise applications to cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform cloud vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
- Prepare cloud security reports and executive recommendations.
- Support incident response involving cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud security posture using automated tools.
- Evaluate emerging cloud security technologies.
- Deliver technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Promote secure cloud adoption across the organization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise cloud security programmes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline.
- Experience in cloud security, cybersecurity consulting, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of cloud networking, identity management, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with cloud security monitoring and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement abilities.
