Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Architect to design and govern modern cloud infrastructure supporting digital banking, payments, financial applications, and high-volume transaction environments.
This role is intended for a senior technology professional who can translate complex financial-services requirements into secure, scalable, highly available technical architectures.
The successful candidate will influence cloud modernization strategy while ensuring that critical financial platforms achieve strong resilience, observability, performance, interoperability, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities

Design enterprise-grade cloud architectures for fintech and digital banking environments.

Develop modernization roadmaps for legacy financial applications.

Define scalable infrastructure patterns for high-volume transaction systems.

Establish standards for cloud security, resilience, availability, and disaster recovery.

Design API and microservices architectures supporting financial applications.

Evaluate cloud platforms and infrastructure technologies based on business requirements.

Collaborate with engineering teams on migration and modernization programs.

Review architecture designs and identify performance, security, and scalability risks.

Develop strategies for containerization, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management.

Establish technology standards for production environments.

Support capacity planning and cost optimization.

Work with cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls into cloud architecture.

Prepare technical recommendations for senior technology leadership.

Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture governance.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise technology, fintech, banking technology, or infrastructure engineering.

Strong understanding of cloud computing and distributed systems.

Experience with microservices, APIs, containers, databases, networking, and DevOps.

Knowledge of high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures.

Experience modernizing complex technology environments.

Strong technical documentation and communication capabilities.
