Architect the Future of Connected Banking
An internationally expanding financial technology organization is seeking an exceptional Chief Open Banking Ecosystems Officer to lead the design and commercialization of next-generation financial ecosystems that seamlessly connect banks, payment providers, merchants, digital platforms, and enterprise clients.
This executive position offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital finance by driving API-first banking strategies, ecosystem partnerships, platform innovation, and enterprise transformation initiatives across rapidly evolving financial markets.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will influence organizational strategy, technology investments, regulatory engagement, and cross-border financial innovation while leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for delivering world-class digital banking experiences.
Strategic Responsibilities
Enterprise Transformation
- Develop enterprise Open Banking strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Build scalable Banking-as-a-Service platforms.
- Drive digital ecosystem expansion across regional and international markets.
- Lead executive transformation programmes.
- Identify high-value fintech partnership opportunities.
Platform Leadership
- Oversee API management and integration frameworks.
- Modernize digital banking infrastructure.
- Enhance customer onboarding and authentication services.
- Improve financial interoperability across multiple institutions.
- Lead enterprise platform governance.
Commercial Growth
- Develop new revenue-generating financial products.
- Expand strategic alliance networks.
- Drive ecosystem monetization strategies.
- Evaluate investment opportunities in emerging financial technologies.
- Strengthen customer acquisition initiatives.
Governance & Risk
- Maintain enterprise technology governance.
- Strengthen cybersecurity oversight.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Improve operational resilience.
- Lead executive risk management reviews.
Executive Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in fintech, banking, digital transformation, or financial technology leadership.
- Deep expertise in Open Banking, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes.
- Outstanding executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
