Position Overview
A fast-growing financial technology enterprise is recruiting an innovative Executive Director – API Banking & Financial Connectivity to design and expand highly scalable API ecosystems connecting banks, fintech platforms, payment processors, digital marketplaces, and enterprise clients.
This strategic role requires a visionary leader capable of accelerating financial interoperability, enterprise integrations, and seamless digital banking experiences through modern API technologies.
Primary Responsibilities
Technology Strategy
- Lead enterprise API banking architecture.
- Expand financial connectivity platforms.
- Oversee API governance frameworks.
- Improve integration scalability.
Business Development
- Establish strategic banking partnerships.
- Support fintech ecosystem growth.
- Develop enterprise integration programmes.
- Drive commercial expansion initiatives.
Leadership
- Direct engineering and product teams.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor technology leaders.
- Represent the organization at international fintech conferences.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Finance, or Financial Technology.
- Minimum 13 years of senior leadership experience.
- Strong API platform and fintech knowledge.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise integration projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
