This highly influential position combines enterprise architecture, payment engineering, cybersecurity, and innovation strategy to create scalable financial platforms that define the future of digital commerce.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise payment platforms supporting high-volume transaction processing.
- Lead modernization of payment gateways, acquiring systems, and settlement infrastructure.
- Design scalable API ecosystems for financial institutions.
- Integrate digital wallets, real-time payment rails, and Open Banking services.
- Oversee platform resilience, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Evaluate emerging payment technologies for commercial adoption.
- Establish enterprise architectural standards and governance frameworks.
- Guide multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout solution delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of enterprise technology leadership within fintech or banking.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, event-driven systems, API management, and enterprise security.
- Strong understanding of PCI DSS, ISO 20022, payment orchestration, and digital banking infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
