A transformative national financial modernization agenda is seeking a world-class Chief Architect to design and lead the next generation of sovereign digital monetary infrastructure.
This role sits at the intersection of central banking, distributed ledger technology, macro-financial systems engineering, digital currency frameworks, and real-time monetary policy infrastructure.
The mandate is not incremental modernization—it is the structural reinvention of how sovereign money is issued, circulated, settled, and governed in a fully digitized economy.
The appointed leader will define the architecture of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) systems, programmable money frameworks, tokenized settlement layers, and national-scale digital liquidity infrastructure capable of operating across retail, wholesale, and cross-border financial ecosystems.
Strategic Mandate
Design and implement a sovereign-grade digital currency ecosystem that supports:
• Retail and wholesale CBDC infrastructure

Executive Responsibilities
Lead national-level CBDC architecture design and deployment strategy.
Develop multi-layer digital monetary infrastructure integrating central bank systems, commercial banks, and fintech ecosystems.
Define governance frameworks for programmable currency issuance and circulation.
Oversee real-time settlement modernization initiatives across financial institutions.
Coordinate with international monetary authorities on interoperability standards.
Establish cybersecurity, resilience, and sovereign data protection frameworks for national financial systems.
Direct large-scale simulation modeling for monetary policy digitization.
Lead research into future financial system architectures including tokenized economies and digital liquidity layers.
Manage multi-disciplinary teams spanning macroeconomics, distributed systems, cryptography, and financial engineering.
