Role Title: Remote Blockchain & Digital Assets Engineer

Position Summary
The Blockchain & Digital Assets Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining decentralized financial infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and secure financial transaction systems.
Technical Scope of Work
Architecture & Development
- Design blockchain-based financial applications (DeFi, tokenization platforms).
- Develop and deploy smart contracts using Solidity or Rust.
- Integrate blockchain solutions with traditional fintech systems via APIs.
Security & Optimization
- Conduct smart contract audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement cryptographic security measures for digital asset transactions.
- Optimize blockchain performance and gas efficiency.
Infrastructure Management
- Maintain nodes and blockchain networks (Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc.).
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot network issues and protocol-level challenges.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or similar smart contract languages.
- Strong understanding of blockchain protocols (Ethereum, BSC, or others).
- Experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries.
- Knowledge of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud infrastructure.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in blockchain development or fintech engineering.
- Demonstrated portfolio of deployed blockchain projects.
Additional Advantages
- Experience with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721).
- Knowledge of decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and liquidity protocols.
- Exposure to regulatory considerations for digital assets in Qatar.
