Position: Remote Blockchain & Digital Assets Engineer
Location: Remote – Qatar
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
Role Summary
The Blockchain & Digital Assets Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining distributed ledger solutions and digital asset infrastructures. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain protocols, cryptographic principles, and financial transaction systems.
You will contribute to building secure, transparent, and scalable fintech solutions that leverage decentralized technologies.
Core Functional Areas
Blockchain Development
- Design and implement smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps)
- Develop blockchain-based payment and asset transfer solutions
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance optimization
System Integration
- Integrate blockchain solutions with existing fintech platforms and APIs
- Enable interoperability between centralized and decentralized financial systems
- Support digital wallet and custody infrastructure development
Security & Compliance
- Implement cryptographic protocols and secure key management systems
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations governing digital assets in Qatar
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
Technical Requirements
- Programming Languages: Solidity, Rust, Python, or JavaScript
- Blockchain Platforms: Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar frameworks
- Tools: Web3 libraries, smart contract testing frameworks
- Understanding of consensus mechanisms and distributed systems
Experience Profile
- 4–7 years of experience in software engineering or blockchain development
- Strong understanding of financial systems and digital asset ecosystems
- Experience working with high-security, transaction-heavy environments

- Smart contract reliability and security
- System scalability and transaction throughput
