We are looking for an exceptional Architect to design the technological foundations behind sophisticated payment and financial platforms.
This role is intended for an engineer-architect who thinks beyond individual applications and understands the entire financial-technology stack—from transaction initiation and API orchestration to data processing, settlement workflows, security, monitoring, and business continuity.
ARCHITECTURAL MANDATE
You will:

Define enterprise architecture for scalable payment and financial platforms.

Design distributed systems capable of supporting high transaction volumes.

Establish API strategies connecting banking, payment, merchant, and fintech ecosystems.

Architect event-driven transaction-processing environments.
-
Develop cloud-native approaches for mission-critical financial workloads.

Design resilient systems incorporating redundancy, automated recovery, and fault isolation.

Establish standards for service availability, latency, throughput, scalability, and observability.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to incorporate security controls throughout the technology lifecycle.

Develop data architectures capable of supporting real-time financial intelligence.

Evaluate emerging technologies and determine where they can create measurable financial value.

Provide technical leadership across engineering, DevOps, data, security, product, and infrastructure teams.

Produce architecture principles, technical standards, reference architectures, and modernization roadmaps.

Review major technical decisions and ensure long-term architectural coherence.

9+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, payments technology, or fintech experience.

Proven experience designing mission-critical distributed platforms.

Experience with high-volume transactional systems.

Understanding of financial-services security and resilience requirements.

Strong technical leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Ability to translate business objectives into precise architectural decisions.
