Architecture Mandate
We are seeking a senior Digital Banking Core Systems Architect to design the technology foundations supporting modern, high-volume financial services.
The role is responsible for translating banking requirements into resilient architectures spanning core banking integration, customer platforms, transaction processing, APIs, data services, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Design target-state architectures for digital banking platforms.

Develop integration strategies between core banking systems and fintech applications.

Architect scalable transaction-processing and account-servicing capabilities.

Establish API, microservices, event-driven, and cloud architecture standards.

Evaluate legacy-modernisation strategies and technology migration approaches.
-
Design systems for high availability, resilience, scalability, and performance.

Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture implementation and technical standards.

Define integration patterns for payments, customer data, identity, and financial services.

Conduct architecture reviews and technology risk assessments.

Establish observability, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity requirements.

Evaluate emerging banking technologies and their architectural implications.

Produce technical roadmaps aligned with commercial and operational priorities.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

8–12 years of experience in enterprise architecture, banking technology, fintech, or financial infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, microservices, databases, and event-driven architecture.

Experience with digital banking or core banking integration.

Strong technical leadership and documentation capabilities.

Indicative Compensation
KWD 4,000–6,000 monthly + benefits, depending on experience and technical scope.
