Role Overview
This role focuses on designing and enhancing AI-powered credit scoring systems used in digital lending platforms. The position blends software engineering, financial modeling, and machine learning to build scalable and intelligent credit decisioning tools.
Key Responsibilities
System Design & Development
- Develop and maintain credit scoring algorithms using machine learning techniques
- Build scalable backend systems to support real-time lending decisions
- Integrate alternative data sources into credit evaluation models
Data & Analytics
- Analyze borrower data to improve predictive accuracy of credit models
- Implement data pipelines for structured and unstructured financial data
- Optimize model performance through continuous testing and refinement
Fintech Integration
- Collaborate with product teams to embed credit systems into digital lending platforms
- Ensure seamless integration with APIs, mobile applications, and financial services
Risk & Compliance Alignment
- Align credit models with regulatory expectations and risk management frameworks
- Ensure transparency and explainability of AI-driven decisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in fintech engineering, credit systems, or AI development
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
- Understanding of lending systems and credit risk methodologies
