The Strategic Opportunity
A high-growth digital finance platform is hiring a highly strategic Lead DevOps Engineer – Embedded Finance Platforms & Intelligent Lending Systems to lead infrastructure automation, cloud reliability, and deployment architecture across embedded finance products, lending platforms, and next-generation credit ecosystems.
This role focuses on building the invisible operational layer behind customer onboarding, underwriting systems, merchant financing, BNPL solutions, repayment engines, and automated financial decision systems.
The successful engineer will ensure these lending platforms remain scalable, secure, and continuously available while supporting rapid financial product innovation across highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead DevOps strategy across lending systems, embedded finance platforms, and credit delivery infrastructure
• Design cloud-native architecture supporting underwriting engines, loan origination systems, repayment workflows, and customer servicing operations
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines for compliance-driven product releases and operational deployment governance
• Strengthen Kubernetes infrastructure, container orchestration, and distributed microservices supporting financial workloads
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for reliable deployment consistency across development, staging, and production environments
• Improve observability, alerting systems, and incident response frameworks across customer-facing financial platforms
• Collaborate with engineering teams, credit operations, compliance leaders, product managers, and cybersecurity specialists
• Strengthen resilience engineering, platform redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies across lending ecosystems
• Optimize databases, APIs, and backend infrastructure supporting financial transaction flows and credit operations
• Ensure alignment with Bahrain financial regulations and internal operational governance standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
• 6–10+ years of DevOps engineering experience across fintech, lending systems, banking platforms, or regulated digital services
• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and cloud automation frameworks
• Experience supporting lending operations, embedded finance systems, or financial product platforms
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, cloud security, and compliance-sensitive infrastructure design
• Excellent leadership, ownership mindset, and technical architecture capability
