Position Overview
A progressive banking institution is seeking a motivated Treasury Analyst to support treasury operations, liquidity management, funding activities, and financial risk monitoring. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily liquidity positions and cash flow forecasts.
- Support funding and investment activities.
- Analyze interest rate and foreign exchange exposures.
- Prepare treasury performance and liquidity reports.
- Assist in managing short-term and long-term funding requirements.
- Monitor compliance with liquidity and capital management policies.
- Support financial market transactions and settlements.
- Maintain treasury records and operational documentation.
- Conduct market research on interest rate and currency trends.
- Collaborate with finance, risk, and operations teams.
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Recommend process improvements for treasury operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in treasury, finance, banking, or capital markets.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of liquidity management and financial markets.
- Understanding of treasury products and risk management principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Professional treasury or finance certifications are an advantage.
