The successful candidate will facilitate secure and efficient trade transactions, ensure compliance with international banking standards, and provide exceptional support to corporate and commercial banking clients engaged in global trade activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process letters of credit, documentary collections, and bank guarantees.
- Review trade finance documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Support import and export financing transactions.
- Coordinate with correspondent banks and international financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade finance regulations and banking policies.
- Monitor transaction timelines and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare trade finance reports and transaction summaries.
- Assist relationship managers with corporate client requirements.
- Conduct document verification and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate transaction records within banking systems.
- Support trade finance process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Monitor market developments affecting international trade.
- Collaborate with compliance and operations teams.
- Provide professional customer support for trade finance inquiries.
- Promote operational excellence across trade services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, International Business, Economics, or related discipline.
- Experience in trade finance, commercial banking, or international banking operations.
- Knowledge of letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking applications.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
