Strategic Mandate

This role is established to define, codify, and enforce the financial and systemic limits that keep fintech platforms safe, predictable, and governable. The Supreme Strategic Authority will own threshold logic, caps, buffers, and guardrails that determine how far systems may stretch before intervention, slowdown, or containment occurs.

The mandate is not risk monitoring or compliance oversight. It is constraint-by-design, embedding safety and discipline directly into fintech system logic.

Executive Authority & Responsibilities

  • Architect and govern financial and systemic limit frameworks across fintech platforms.

  • Define executive doctrines for threshold setting, dynamic limits, and escalation triggers.

  • Establish standards for graceful degradation, throttling, and controlled restriction.

  • Oversee integration of limits into transaction engines, liquidity systems, and settlement layers.

  • Lead multi-year strategies for adaptive limits under growth, volatility, and behavioural change.

  • Act as final authority on limit breaches, override decisions, and guardrail evolution.

Executive Profile

  • 17–25+ years in fintech systems, financial controls architecture, or large-scale platform governance.

  • Proven experience designing constraint-driven financial systems.

  • Deep expertise in threshold logic, systemic buffers, and behavioural containment.

  • Executive judgment grounded in consequence-aware system thinking.

  • Ability to operate where limits protect both capital and credibility.

Compensation Structure (Bahrain)

  • Base Salary: BHD 7,200 – 10,500 per month

  • Annual Executive Incentive: 35% – 50% of base salary

  • Long-Term Incentive: Multi-year system-discipline and guardrail-effectiveness awards

  • Executive Benefits: Executive housing allowance, premium healthcare, education support, annual international travel allowance
