Technical Purpose
Build and maintain the integration layer connecting fintech applications with banks, payment providers and financial-service platforms. The Specialist will ensure reliable, secure and scalable exchange of financial information and transaction data.
Responsibilities

Design and maintain APIs connecting fintech applications to financial institutions.

Develop integration workflows for payments, account information and transaction services.

Troubleshoot API failures and integration issues.

Establish monitoring for latency, availability and transaction integrity.

Collaborate with security teams on authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Work with developers and product teams to define integration requirements.

Document API specifications, integration processes and technical dependencies.
-
Conduct integration testing before production deployment.

Evaluate third-party financial APIs and integration technologies.

Improve reliability and scalability of financial-data exchange.
Technical Requirements
-
5+ years of API integration or software-engineering experience.

Strong REST/JSON and API-development knowledge.

Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, C# or comparable languages.

Understanding of authentication, OAuth, API security and data encryption.

Experience with microservices and cloud-based environments.
-
Knowledge of payment or banking integrations is highly desirable.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to open banking, payment gateways, financial APIs, event-driven architecture or banking-as-a-service platforms will be advantageous.
