An innovative fintech institution is looking for a talented Specialist – Backend Application Development to build secure and scalable backend services supporting digital wallets, open banking integrations, financial automation, blockchain-enabled applications, and AI-driven customer experiences.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for enterprise fintech applications.
- Design RESTful APIs and service integrations for financial platforms.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Optimize database performance and backend application efficiency.
- Integrate third-party financial services and payment gateways.
- Participate in Agile software development, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers.
- Produce technical documentation and contribute to engineering knowledge sharing.
- Support production releases, incident resolution, and continuous platform improvements.
- Stay current with emerging backend technologies, cloud computing, and fintech engineering trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing backend applications within fintech, banking, payment technology, or enterprise software.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C#, Go, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud computing, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
