Role Purpose

The Remote Senior Strategist for Embedded Payments Networks & Merchant Intelligence will lead the architecture and strategic expansion of Bahrain’s digital payment enablement ecosystem. The role focuses on merchant onboarding optimization, embedded transactional financing, autonomous settlement logic, and SME performance intelligence engineered to elevate Bahrain’s digital commerce competitiveness.

Main Responsibilities

• Embedded Payment Network Architecture
  
  Build modular embedded payment rails integrating instant merchant settlement, smart fee routing, tokenized transaction security, and adaptive risk-based authorization.

• Merchant Intelligence & Performance Analytics
  
  Develop real-time analytics engines that interpret cash flow patterns, operational behavior, sales velocity, transactional anomalies, and merchant creditworthiness signals.

• Digital Commerce Enablement Frameworks
  
  Create unified merchant dashboards, data-driven liquidity tools, profit diagnostics, and KPI-driven ecosystem insights tailored for Bahrain’s SME and enterprise segments.

• Adaptive Risk & Settlement Governance
  
  Architect risk layers addressing fraud vectors, chargeback behaviors, multi-channel exposure, and automated settlement conditioning.

• Bahrain-Focused Data Governance & Operational Integrity
  
  Implement structured data policies, multi-source telemetry ingestion, audit compatibility frameworks, and cross-platform transparency matrices.

Technical Skillset

• Strong expertise in payments engineering, merchant enablement systems, embedded finance, predictive analytics, and SME-focused fintech design.

• Deep technical exposure to cloud-native transaction ecosystems, dynamic data orchestration, and multi-rail payment platforms.
