Role Overview
The Senior Digital Finance Platform & API Ecosystem Strategist will lead the architectural and strategic evolution of API-driven financial platforms supporting payments, digital banking services, and data-enabled financial products. This role is focused on building modular, extensible, and interoperable fintech ecosystems aligned with international best practices and GCC regulatory expectations.
The successful candidate will define how financial services are exposed, consumed, and scaled through APIs, ensuring platform resilience, developer accessibility, and long-term ecosystem sustainability.
Key Responsibilities

Define strategic API frameworks enabling scalable digital finance platforms and third-party integration.

Design modular platform architectures supporting payments, account services, data access, and transaction processing.

Establish governance models for API security, access control, versioning, and lifecycle management.

Align platform strategies with regulatory, compliance, and data protection requirements.

Develop executive-level platform roadmaps outlining future capabilities, scalability paths, and ecosystem expansion.

Act as a strategic advisor on global fintech platform trends and digital service enablement models.
Required Qualifications & Experience

9–12 years of experience in fintech platform strategy, API architecture, or digital financial services leadership.

Strong technical understanding of API ecosystems, microservices, and cloud-native financial platforms.

Experience working within GCC or comparable regulatory-driven financial markets.

Ability to translate platform architecture into strategic business outcomes.
