A rapidly growing fintech banking institution is seeking an experienced Senior Payments Consultant to advise enterprise clients and internal leadership on complex payment transformation programmes, commercial payment optimization, treasury connectivity, payment orchestration, and financial infrastructure modernization.
This role blends strategic consulting, technical expertise, and commercial leadership. You will work closely with banks, financial institutions, corporate clients, payment service providers, and technology partners to develop scalable payment solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise payment transformation engagements.
- Conduct payment architecture and operational assessments.
- Design commercial payment optimization strategies.
- Support digital banking and treasury integration initiatives.
- Advise clients on payment modernization and automation.
- Facilitate executive workshops and solution design sessions.
- Develop business cases supporting strategic investments.
- Collaborate with technology teams on payment platform implementation.
- Analyze payment performance and recommend continuous improvements.
- Prepare executive reports and governance documentation.
- Strengthen strategic client relationships.
- Support business development and proposal activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in payments consulting, banking, treasury, financial technology, or enterprise transformation.
- Strong analytical, consulting, and stakeholder management capabilities.
