About the Role

A fast-scaling fintech payments operator in Dubai is expanding its core wallet and merchant payment infrastructure across the GCC and is hiring a Senior Fintech Product Operations Lead to take ownership of live payment systems that process millions of daily transactions.

This is not a theoretical product role. You will sit directly between product, engineering, compliance, and operations — ensuring real payment systems actually work, scale, and remain stable under high transaction pressure.

The environment is high-volume, real-time, and commercially driven.

You will be working on:

• Digital wallet systems

• Merchant acquiring platforms

• Payment gateway operations

• Cross-border settlement flows

• Real-time transaction monitoring systems

What You Will Do

• Own end-to-end fintech payment product operations in live environments

• Monitor wallet and payment system performance in real time

• Identify and resolve transaction failures, delays, and system inconsistencies

• Work with engineers to stabilize and optimize payment infrastructure

• Improve merchant onboarding and payment acceptance flows

• Coordinate with banks, PSPs, and switching partners across GCC markets

• Support rollout of new fintech payment features and integrations

• Ensure operational readiness during peak transaction periods

What They Are Looking For

• 6–10 years experience in fintech, payments, banking operations, or digital wallets

• Strong understanding of payment lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement)

• Experience with:

  • Merchant acquiring systems

  • Payment gateways

  • Card/wallet ecosystems

  • Reconciliation and settlement processes

• Ability to work in fast-paced, real-time financial environments

• Strong coordination between technical and business teams
