Role Summary

This role is intended for a senior fintech engineer responsible for building, scaling, and hardening modern financial platforms. The focus is on payments infrastructure, API ecosystems, and cloud-native financial services designed to operate at high volume, low latency, and under strict governance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain payment processing and financial service platforms

• Build secure, scalable API-first architectures supporting internal and external integrations

• Implement transaction workflows including authorization, posting, settlement, and reconciliation

• Ensure system reliability through observability, fault tolerance, and redundancy strategies

• Collaborate with product, risk, and data teams to translate financial logic into software systems

• Contribute to architectural decisions around scalability, performance, and maintainability

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures

• Proficiency in cloud-native environments (containerization, orchestration, CI/CD pipelines)

• Solid understanding of payment flows, transaction lifecycles, and ledger interactions

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and event-driven APIs

• Strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and documentation

Professional Profile

• 7–12 years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial systems engineering

• Proven track record working on high-availability, production financial platforms

• Comfortable working remotely across multiple time zones

• Structured, detail-oriented, and accountable for system outcomes
