Position Summary
A highly regulated fintech ecosystem is investing heavily in regulatory technology (RegTech) to automate compliance, enhance transparency, and reduce operational risk across its financial platforms.
The goal is to transform compliance from a reactive process into a proactive, system-driven capability—where regulatory requirements are embedded directly into financial workflows.
To lead this transformation, the organization is seeking a Senior Director – RegTech, Compliance Automation & Financial Governance Systems.
This role is responsible for designing systems that ensure continuous compliance, real-time monitoring, and automated reporting across all financial operations.
Core Responsibilities
Compliance Automation Systems
- Design automated compliance frameworks for fintech platforms.
- Integrate regulatory requirements into system workflows.
- Enable real-time monitoring of compliance status.
- Reduce manual intervention in compliance processes.
Regulatory Technology Architecture
- Build scalable RegTech platforms for financial governance.
- Develop systems for reporting, auditing, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure data accuracy and transparency across compliance systems.
- Support integration with financial platforms.
Risk Management & Governance
- Identify and mitigate compliance-related risks.
- Establish governance frameworks for regulatory adherence.
- Maintain audit-ready systems and documentation.
- Collaborate with regulators and compliance teams.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance compliance efficiency.
- Implement advanced analytics for regulatory insights.
- Drive adoption of automation and AI in compliance systems.
- Support organizational transformation toward proactive compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in compliance, RegTech, or fintech systems.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations.
- Experience with automation and data analytics tools.
- Proven leadership in regulated environments.
