Strategic Overview

This role is responsible for designing and governing Qatar’s intelligent digital banking ecosystem. The Senior Director will lead AI-powered decision engines, embedded finance frameworks, real-time analytics, and hyper-personalized customer experiences across retail, SME, and institutional segments. The position combines advanced technical expertise with strategic governance, regulatory alignment, and market foresight.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect predictive banking intelligence systems using AI for credit scoring, customer segmentation, and behavior analysis.

• Build embedded finance microservices enabling on-demand lending, merchant analytics, and wallet integration.

• Develop secure, compliant data pipelines integrating structured, unstructured, and alternative data sources.

• Lead model governance, explainable AI frameworks, and regulatory-aligned auditing processes.

• Oversee distributed teams of data engineers, cloud architects, and digital banking specialists to deliver next-gen platforms.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in AI banking, open banking, embedded finance, or predictive analytics for fintech.

• Strong expertise in AI pipelines, cloud-based financial systems, and regulatory-compliant data frameworks.

• Knowledge of Qatar’s financial innovation policies and GCC digital banking strategies.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional remote teams on complex digital banking initiatives.
