Senior Director – Financial Infrastructure Reliability (SRE & High-Availability Systems) Remote – Oman
Role Mandate
In the evolving fintech ecosystem of Oman, system reliability is no longer a support function—it is a core financial requirement.
This role is responsible for ensuring that financial platforms achieve:
- Near-zero downtime
- Real-time transaction reliability
- Scalable infrastructure resilience
You will lead the design of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) frameworks tailored for financial systems.
Core Operational Domains
2.1 Reliability Engineering Frameworks
- Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs):
- Availability targets (≥ 99.999%)
- Latency thresholds
- Implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs)
2.2 High-Availability System Design
- Architect systems with:
- Multi-region deployments
- Active-active failover
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness
2.3 Incident Management & Resilience
- Build systems for:
- Real-time incident detection
- Automated recovery processes
- Develop post-incident analysis frameworks
2.4 Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize:
- Transaction latency
- System throughput
- Implement load balancing and scaling strategies
2.5 Observability & Monitoring
- Deploy observability tools:
- Metrics, logs, tracing systems
- Enable proactive system health monitoring

- Experience managing:
