Position Overview

This role is tailored for a senior-level blockchain and digital asset technologist responsible for creating Kuwait-ready institutional blockchain networks, high-trust digital asset governance models, and programmable tokenization frameworks.

The director will design end-to-end distributed financial infrastructures, including public-private blockchain interoperability, asset token lifecycle management, high-assurance custody systems, zero-knowledge privacy modules, and cross-border digital settlement corridors.

Core Responsibilities

1. Blockchain Infrastructure Engineering

• Architect high-scale permissioned blockchain networks integrating consensus optimization, cryptographic security enhancements, and multi-layer smart contract governance.

• Build interoperability bridges between banking systems, digital asset platforms, cross-chain networks, and external oracle environments.

• Lead engineering of distributed clearing engines for programmable payments and cross-border asset transactions.

2. Institutional Tokenization & Smart Contract Governance

• Design institutional-grade token models for payments, investment products, real-world assets, and enterprise instruments.

• Implement policy-aware smart contracts incorporating automated controls, regulatory constraints, and multi-role verification logic.

• Create lifecycle management structures for issuance, distribution, redemption, settlement, and audit assurance.

3. Digital Asset Compliance & Risk Architecture

• Integrate digital asset regulatory frameworks, AML/KYC controls, sanctions filters, and on-chain surveillance engines.

• Develop custody governance including wallet control policies, asset segregation mechanisms, multi-signature protocols, and secure signing infrastructure.

Required Competencies

• 12–20+ years in blockchain engineering, distributed ledger architecture, digital asset governance, or cryptographic financial systems.

• Mastery of smart contract systems, tokenization frameworks, consensus algorithms, privacy-preserving computation, and institutional custody models.

• Strong knowledge of GCC digital asset policy development, with emphasis on Kuwait’s evolving regulatory environment.

• Capability to design institution-scale, high-trust distributed financial systems.
